Accessibility Statement

I want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Current status

This site aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. It has not been formally audited or certified, and I do not claim full conformance. Where I know the site falls short, I have said so below rather than leaving it unstated.

What has been done

• Text and background colours chosen for legible contrast
• All interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators
• A “skip to main content” link for keyboard users
• Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning
• Headings used in a logical order so the page structure makes sense when read aloud
• Motion and animation kept minimal, and the visitor’s system-level “reduce motion” setting respected
• A display preferences panel offering larger text, higher contrast, permanent link underlines and reduced motion

The preferences panel adjusts visual presentation only. It does not modify the underlying page for assistive technology, and it is not a substitute for the site itself being accessible.

Known limitations

• Some decorative images may not yet have complete alternative text
• Certain third-party embedded elements are outside my direct control and may not fully meet the same standard
• Contrast on a small number of secondary text elements is being reviewed

I address issues as I find them, and any issue reported to me is looked at directly rather than queued.

Legal position

This site is operated by a sole trader based in Vienna, Austria. It is an informational site for a professional services business and does not sell products or process transactions online.

Under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), microenterprises providing services are exempt from the accessibility requirements set out for services. I meet that definition. The measures described above are taken because they are the right thing to do, not because they are required.
